The Business Administrator (BA) functions much like a "chief operating officer" under the Mayor and heads the Department of Administration and all other departments and divisions within the Borough. The Office of Administration runs the day-to-day operations of the Municipality.

The Business Administrator, under the direction and supervision of the Mayor, shall:

  • Assist in the preparation of the budget;
  • Administer and maintain a centralized purchasing system;
  • Implementation of all policies and procedures established by Borough Council
  • Prepare recommendations pertaining to long-range planning and capital improvements
  • Supervise and direct the business functions of all Borough departments

Finance Department

The Finance Department is responsible for the financial administration of the municipal government, including but not limited to:

  • Accounting and payroll
  • Debt and cash management
  • Risk management
  • Financial reporting
  • Development and Implementation of policies
  • Ensuring the municipality complies with applicable laws, regulations, and auditing standards

The Department of Finance is promoting a paperless system in an effort to encourage a sustainable community, and to promote efficiency and transparency of information. You will find our financial documents on the left side of this page.
