If anyone has noticed rodents around their properties, the Camden County Department of Health has provided information to help mitigate the problem. An investigator from that department was called in to look into the sightings and has found, as is the case most of the time, residents greatly contribute to the cause. Several residents were cited by the County Health Department for violations. Leaving food outside for other animals, not cleaning up pet feces, allowing bird seed to drop to the ground from bird feeders, uncovered trash receptacles and piles of wood and trash in yards are all problematic and cause infestations. Please take a look at the information provided and use it to evaluate how you maintain your property.
